The Assin Fosu Divisional Police Command has today arrested two guy who are suspected to be criminal at Assin fosu.
In a press briefing, The Divisional Police Commander Chief Superintendent Henry B.M Bacho said, his day police patrol team busted into a house upon a tip-off that there are some men in a house situated at Assin Fosu dealing in drugs.
He said, in their search they retrieved one short gun with registration number 6po2254-93, 10 live BB cartridges, 3 red pills suspected to be tramadol, 24 quantities of dry leaves suspected to be indian hemp and 6 wrappers of weed. 3 separate quantities of powdered substance, one match box, and half bottle of Acid.
These items were all in the possession of Eric Boateng 19, and David Andoh 20 the suspects.
Chief Superintendent Henry Bacho continued that the police will send the substances to forensic lab for testing and when it proved to be Indian hemp the necessary action will be taken against them.
Currently the suspects Eric Boateng and David Andoh are in the police custody for further investigations.
Meanwhile the two suspects claim they are farmers so they take the drugs to enhance their working performance in farming.
